Performance Dynamics Reviews
How does this benefit your organisation?
Accurate and reliable results quickly
We use the most cutting-edge technology and methods to ensure the data we produce is of the highest accuracy and reliability. By inputting this data into our custom build software, it allows us to produce these results quickly so they can direct training the very same week.
Facilitate long-term athletic development
Long-term athletic development is a key concern for every sporting organisation. To fully develop an athlete’s potential, you must have regular performance markers. This allows you to determine the effectiveness of your training systems and create a steady stream of fully developed athletes.
Provide clear actionable information
Our software carries out detailed analysis of your data through sports specific statistics, produces graphical outputs which are easy to understand and compares your data to normative values to highlight areas of strength and weakness. This gives you a clear roadmap of what you need to improve, and how much you need to improve by.
Turn Information into Action
We provide individualised S&C programs to several clubs and schools across various sports. Our programs are designed to improve performance, reduce injury rates, and maximise the potential of your athletes. We can deliver these programs in-person or remotely through our training app. Our app allows us to deliver the highest standard of coaching remotely, it provides videos for all exercises, allows two-way communication through messaging and video, and tracks training-load, adherence, and progression automatically.
Speed Testing
Using our photoelectric speed gates, we can measure sprint times with the highest degree of accuracy. We have multiple sets of gates which means we can test large numbers of athletes in the shortest time possible.
Isometric Testing
Using our force plate means we can perform more sophisticated strength testing than the traditional 1 or 3 rep max. tests. The isometric mid-thigh pull is a specific strength test that assesses maximal strength and rate of force development (RFD). This test gives you an excellent insight into an athlete’s strength profile, and their ability to apply force quickly.
Benefits
- Valid and reliable method of measuring strength and RFD
- Safer than traditional strength testing with little fatigue involved
- Practical and time-efficient with each test taking just seconds
COD Testing
Efficient change of direction (COD) is a critical physical attribute for an athlete. This action is performed hundreds of times within a single game and can be a key determinant of success. Change of direction testing challenges an athlete’s ability to decelerate, change direction and reaccelerate efficiently off both sides.
Endurance Testing
Aerobic Testing
Aerobic fitness is tested by having athletes run a set distance, usually 1km or 1.2km In the shortest time possible. These distances have been shown to correlate strongly with maximal aerobic speed (MAS), MAS is the minimal running velocity at which V02 max occurs. In other words, it is the lowest speed at which maximum oxygen uptake occurs. By determining MAS scores from your testing, it allows us to prescribe fitness training at the appropriate intensity for each individual athlete.
Repeat Sprint Ability (RSA)
RSA tests an athlete’s anaerobic capacity, their ability to recover between high-intensity efforts and produce the same level of power repeatedly. This test is carried out using our photoelectric speed gates and is highly accurate and reliable.
Power Testing
The counter-movement jump (CMJ) is a fast, safe, accurate and reliable method of measuring lower body power. When you break a CMJ down to its principle characteristics you see that its more than a simple jump. At its core, the CMJ is an explosive extension of the hips, knees, and ankles which is known as triple extension. This movement pattern is replicated throughout sprinting, jumping, and changing direction making it a highly specific test for athletes. Results from the test give us both performance (jump height) and descriptive (Peak Power, Relative Peak Power, Rate of Force Development etc.) indicators. That means you can determine what an athlete’s strengths and weaknesses are within that movement.
The measure of success is not whether you have a tough problem to deal with, but whether it is the same problem you had last year.
