I got recommend to got to Brian through a close friend in February 22 and his coaching has been top class over the past 6 months, I went to him to get in the shape I wanted for my wedding. The workouts all have a clear purpose and great variety that provide the results if you follow his instructions. Brian is very diligent and I have found the best aspect of the coaching to be his focus on form/technique and providing a good base to improve upon. I have been a consistent gym goer over the last 10+ years and I can easily say that Brian has provided coaching and form correction tips that I have never received from PTs before (plus this was all remote with no physical face to face session). The sessions are brilliant, never get stale and there is a great balance and variety to keep you interested. Your training is not specific to you

We are all individual, we are different shapes and sizes, have different limb lengths, bone structures, different strengths and weaknesses. So why would you take a one -size-fits-all approach to training? We understand that everyone is different, and we embrace that individuality. That’s why we tailor our program to you specifically, we work with you in every session to make sure you’re training properly and working towards your goals.

Lack of structure and accountability

Motivation to train comes and goes, even elite athletes struggle with motivation to train sometimes. If you are someone who needs structure and accountability, then training in a big gym where you are nothing but a number and a membership card isn’t the answer. You need the structure of a planned & progressive program, and the accountability of someone to ask you why you didn’t make it to your session.

The negative trap

We have been conditioning over time to think that we must live a restrictive lifestyle to be  in good shape. Theres low carb diets, low fat diets, counting syns. All of these work off a negative energy balance, but what they miss is the positive side of training. We focus on gaining strength, gaining mobility, gaining confidence, the fat loss comes with it. Don’t fall into the negative trap, put a positive solution in place and give youself the body you’ve always dreamed of.

MEET OUR HEAD COACH

I’m Brian Flaherty, I founded Performance Dynamics out of a love for sports and exercise science, and a desire to make great training available to everyone.

After completing a degree in sports science and a masters in strength and conditioning, I found myself working with athletes and individuals who wanted exceptional results.

I quickly learned that when things are overcomplicated, they don’t work. When you apply the same logic to everyone, they don’t progress. When you don’t measure your desired outcomes, they don’t happen.

What does work, is accurately measuring what you want to improve, simplifying that information to make it actionable, and applying it to the individual at their appropriate level.

I set about creating systems and structures that make this process simple, and Performance Dynamics was born.

Since then, I have worked with Castleknock College SCT, Monkstown Rugby Club, St. Jude’s GAA and hundreds of private athletes and individuals to improve performance and achieve desired outcomes.
