I got recommend to got to Brian through a close friend in February 22 and his coaching has been top class over the past 6 months, I went to him to get in the shape I wanted for my wedding. The workouts all have a clear purpose and great variety that provide the results if you follow his instructions. Brian is very diligent and I have found the best aspect of the coaching to be his focus on form/technique and providing a good base to improve upon. I have been a consistent gym goer over the last 10+ years and I can easily say that Brian has provided coaching and form correction tips that I have never received from PTs before (plus this was all remote with no physical face to face session). The sessions are brilliant, never get stale and there is a great balance and variety to keep you interested. There’s actually  a point where only lifting weights will make you worse…stiff, rigid and un-athletic on the pitch. You need to do things that help you transfer your strength and power into movements that are relevant to your sport.

Commercial gyms aren’t built for athletes. They’re built for people who want to lose weight or look a bit better.

If you’ve ever tried doing proper sprint work or plyometrics in one, you know the look. Confused stares. Someone waiting for you to finish so they can have the space. A trainer telling you you can’t throw medballs.

MEET OUR HEAD COACH

I’m Brian Flaherty, I founded Performance Dynamics out of a love for sports and exercise science, and a desire to make great training available to everyone.

After completing a degree in sports science and a masters in strength and conditioning, I found myself working with athletes and individuals who wanted exceptional results.

I quickly learned that when things are overcomplicated, they don’t work. When you apply the same logic to everyone, they don’t progress. When you don’t measure your desired outcomes, they don’t happen.

What does work, is accurately measuring what you want to improve, simplifying that information to make it actionable, and applying it to the individual at their appropriate level.

I set about creating systems and structures that make this process simple, and Performance Dynamics was born.

Since then, I have worked with Castleknock College SCT, Monkstown Rugby Club, St. Jude’s GAA and hundreds of private athletes and individuals to improve performance and achieve desired outcomes.
